Membership Policy

This Membership Policy outlines the terms and conditions for all memberships at Iron District. By joining the gym, you agree to the following terms.


1. Membership types

Iron District offers different membership options, which may include:

  • Core

  • Pro

  • Elite

  • Personal training packages

  • Classes and additional services

Each membership type includes different benefits. Full details are provided at the time of sign-up.


2. Joining the gym

To become a member, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18)

  • Complete the membership sign-up process

  • Provide accurate personal and contact information

  • Agree to all gym rules and policies


3. Payments

  • Membership fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments may be taken weekly or monthly, depending on the plan.

  • Missed or failed payments may result in suspended access to the gym.

  • Prices may change with reasonable notice.


4. Membership cancellation

  • Memberships may require a [e.g. 30-day] notice period to cancel.

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or in person.

  • Access to the gym will continue until the end of the notice period.


5. Freezes and pauses

At management discretion, memberships may be temporarily frozen due to:

  • Injury or medical reasons

  • Travel or work commitments

Proof may be required, and minimum or maximum freeze periods may apply.


6. Classes and personal training

  • Class spaces may be limited and require booking in advance.

  • Personal training sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged in full.


7. Gym rules and conduct

All members must:

  • Treat staff, coaches, and other members with respect

  • Use equipment safely and as instructed

  • Return weights and equipment after use

  • Wear appropriate training clothing and footwear

Iron District reserves the right to suspend or cancel memberships for:

  • Dangerous or inappropriate behaviour

  • Repeated rule violations

  • Abuse of staff or other members

No refunds will be issued in these cases.


8. Health and safety

Members are responsible for:

  • Training within their own physical limits

  • Informing staff of injuries or medical conditions

  • Following all safety guidance and instructions

If unsure about any exercise or equipment, members should seek assistance from a coach.


9. Personal belongings

Members are responsible for their own belongings.

Iron District is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.


10. Changes to membership terms

Iron District reserves the right to:

  • Adjust membership prices

  • Update gym rules

  • Modify opening hours or services

Members will be given reasonable notice of any significant changes.
